Dr Birute’ Galdikas, the extraordinary researcher from the jungles of Borneo, is gracing Newcastle with her presence! Join us as we welcome this living legend, who alongside Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey forms one of Louis Leakey's iconic Trimates.

With over 50 years of groundbreaking research on orangutan biology, Dr Galdikas has been instrumental in saving these majestic creatures from extinction. She’s not just a scientist, she’s a symbol of inspiration for women in science everywhere Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear from Dr Galdikas herself and learn about her incredible journey in orangutan conservation.
