Ticketing Services

The Civic Box Office provides a comprehensive ticketing service for the Civic Precinct, including the Civic Theatre, City Hall, and the Playhouse.

We also specialise in off-site venues, with ticketing for the Newcastle Jockey Club’s Boxing Day Races and at No1 sports ground for Cricket and AFL and many more.

For promoters, the Ticketek system can offer counter and phone sales across a National Agency Network, World Wide Web Sales, inclusion in the My Ticketek Online Newsletter and daily emailed sales reports.

 

Technical Services

The Technical Services Department of the Civic Precinct, supplies well trained Certificate III and IV Theatre Technicians covering all aspects of Theatre Technology.

We have qualified Electricians, Riggers, Audio Engineers, Welders, Pyrotechnics and Wardrobe / Wig staff. As well as supplying trained technical crew support, the Civic Precinct can supply, if requested, Stage Management, Lighting Design, Sound Design and Production Management Staff.
