The Concert Hall has been acclaimed as one of the finest auditoriums in Australia.
It features excellent natural acoustics, air conditioning, superior lighting and comfortable
lower and upper gallery seating. The Concert Hall is regularly used for conferences,
wedding receptions, balls, school formals, dinners & concerts.
The 820-seat Concert Hall has capacity for 350 banquet-style and up to 500 in cocktail mode.
The Cummings Room is situated immediately adjacent to the Concert Hall and boasts views
over the picturesque Civic Park. It has private bar facilities and is ideal for corporate functions,
dinners and cocktail parties. The Cummings Room is hired in conjunction with the Concert Hall
and has capacity for 200 in cocktail mode and 150 theatre style.
Situated on the first level of City Hall, the Mulubinba Room boasts authentic art deco atmosphere.
This fully carpeted room is ideal for small private dinners, cocktail functions, corporate meetings
and training sessions. The Mulubinba Room has capacity for 50 banquet-style, 75 theatre-style
and up to 100 in cocktail mode.
Located on the upper level of City Hall, the Hunter Room’s elegant high-arched windows frame
picture perfect views over Civic Park. It has private bar facilities, amenities and a permanent dance
floor ideal for weddings, cocktail parties and gala dinners. The Hunter Room has capacity for
120 banquet-style, 150 theatre-style and up to 200 in cocktail mode. Adjacent to the
Hunter Room is a private balcony that may be used for pre-dinner drinks or day catering.
With polished timber floor and bar facilities the Banquet Room lends itself to many and varied
types of functions. Located on the ground floor of City Hall with ideal access and set-up facilities,
the Banquet room is regularly used for weddings, dinner/dances, corporate functions,
trade shows and exhibitions. The Banquet Room has capacity for 300 banquet-style,
350 theatre-style and up to 400 in cocktail mode.
This versatile room is popular for meetings and regularly used for training sessions and seminars.
The Newcastle Room has capacity for 40 banquet-style, 50 theatre-style and up to
60 in cocktail mode.
Situated on the ground floor of City Hall, the Waratah Room boasts a seperate vestibule
making it ideal for interviews, tribunals, registrations or as a private area for morning,
afternoon tea and lunch breaks. The Waratah Room has capacity for 20 banquet-style,
30 theatre style and up to 40 in cocktail mode.
